mal jackson
I'm Mallory but you can call me Mal. I'm a photographer in Midlothian, Virginia specializing in all things family photography! Whether you're coming to me to document the last few months before your baby joins your family, inviting me into the hospital 48 hours after birth, savoring every milestone, or grabbing snuggly shots of the whole family... I am 100% here for it! I love what I do and the people I get to share this passion with!
families + little ones
Mallory Jackson photography is about more than capturing sweet moments between families, it's about the experience of raw and truthful love between significant others, mothers, fathers, and little ones. No person is without imperfections, which means no family or couple is either, and it's those unique qualities within each family that creates unconcealed beauty. When you book a session with Mallory, you won't have to worry about the little details; from outfits, to location, to posing, Mallory will guide you! You shouldn't be worried about your child not smiling for the pictures, the photographs Mallory captures isn't just for stills in a frame, it's to truly show who you and your family is! Those smiles, laughs, and sweet moments of connection will come out naturally through your photography experience with Mallory.

capturing first laughs to last a life time
I’ve been a fan of Mallory’s work for a while, but I’ve officially had the pleasure of working with her to have my own photos done now. She is so down to Earth and easy going! I chose her for my maternity pictures after following her on instagram FOREVER and the experience has exceeded my expectations! It was so cold, but she knew exactly where to go to get the best light, the cutest poses, and we were in and out in 30 minutes with plenty of perfectly captured pictures! She is my go-to now FOR SURE!! Can’t wait to do newborn photos soon Also, having her SIL Megan as a stylist was such a plus!! She seriously made it all come together and I look forward to working with them both in the future.
